Want to study online? Or on campus?
Today, you have the choice of earning an MBA at a campus, online, or a mixture of both. There are many highly rated institutions that offer on campus programs. Virtually every college you can think of now offers an MBA, all the way from the Ivy League down to the state schools. The biggest problem is that those campus-based MBA programs usually take two years and $80,000 to complete.
There are other options for campus programs. The University of Phoenix offers campused-based MBA degrees, as does Keller University, which is part of DeVry University. The good news? Many of these programs cost a lot less than $40,000/year. And most allow you to continue working at your day job while you earn your degree. Many offer courses in the evenings.
Another direction is to attend online grad school for your MBA. You fit the classes into your schedule. Everything happens online, hence the name "online MBA." Of course, you'll need to be able to motivate yourself - you won't have as many strict deadlines as you would with a campus based program. Still, it is hard to beat taking classes by the pool!
The last option is to join a program that mixes online work and classes with classes at a campus. A few schools offer these combined programs, which can be a nice way to collaborate with your fellow students. You get the personal interaction that is more difficult with a strictly online offering.
